Privacy notice

Storytime with Bobbo is run by Bobbo, a sole trader in the UK. This notice explains what we collect when you order a story and how we look after it.

What we collect

Your name, email address and phone number (if you give one), the details of your order, and the memories, photos and voice notes you choose to share for your story. These often include information about other people, such as family members or someone who has died. Please only share what you're happy for Bobbo to use in the story.

Why we use it

To write and deliver your story, to send your invoice and to keep in touch about your order. We never sell your information or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Photos and voice notes are deleted 90 days after your story is delivered, unless you ask us to keep them for reprints. Order records are kept for six years for tax purposes.

Who else handles it

Our website host (Vercel), our database and file storage (Supabase) and our email service (Resend) process data on our behalf. Printed books are produced through Amazon KDP.

Samples

Your story is only shown on our website as a sample if you tick the box when ordering. You can change your mind at any time.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@storytimewithbobbo.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
